Meet Mrs. Brenda

Hi! I'm Brenda! A professionally trained and certified chef, grandmother, mother, wife, gardener, and Caribbean native, born in St.Thomas, Virgin Islands. I am based in Covington, Georgia with my wonderful husband, Trevor.  Welcome to my corner of the internet!

As an avid horticulturist my passion for clean, organic, delicious foods has pushed me to not only grow my herbs, vegetables, and [when the Georgia climate allows] fruit, but to incorporate these fresh ingredients into the dishes I prepare in my kitchen for my friends and family.

When I am not in the kitchen, you will most likely find me in my garden, or surrounded by my 7 grandchildren and 4 adult daughters. There is no greater joy to me than time spent with family, except maybe feeding my family. Food is my love language. I love opportunities to share that with those around me.

With the support of my loved ones, and with prayer, I believe that I can I can live my most fulfilled life. My dream is to retire from my career as a nurse tech and to support myself by gardening and cooking for my neighbors, friends, family, and anyone who comes across my site in the Covington, Georgia area.
